Almost Edible Gourmet Candles Creates Drool-worthy Delights
Not merely candle makers, but candle “bakers” are what you’ll find at Almost Edible Gourmet Candles located in Cocoa Beach. According to owner Will Therrien, that’s because the process he uses for creating his delicious and seemingly edible wax masterpieces is similar to baking. The end results don’t just look enticing; they smell absolutely appetizing!
With hundreds of delectable varieties to choose from, which include a wonderful array of yummy foods and beverages, it’s not surprising that the inspiration for many of Therrien’s taste-tempting creations comes from cookbooks.
True to form, the artisan “baking” process begins in the “candle kitchen” using restaurant equipment and common household kitchen gadgets combined with techniques that are the result of decades of experimentation.
“We still make each recipe the old-fashioned way, in small batches with meticulous attention to the slightest of details in appearance, aroma and presentation,” Will says.
Because each beautifully rendered candle is individually handcrafted, no two creations will be exactly alike.
Their uniqueness makes them perfect for gift-giving, but you’ll definitely want a few for yourself. The problem is deciding which ones to take home.
Almost Edible Gourmet Candles have to be seen and smelled to be fully grasped, otherwise you just can’t wrap your mind around the startling realism (and heavenly aroma) that’s painstakingly and lovingly represented as a luscious, mouthwatering candle.
