Todd Thomas Home Improvement, Inc. Turns the Ordinary into the Extraordinary
Location: Indian River Isles
Located on the water, hidden behind the walls of a gorgeous two-story, 4,000-square-foot home built in 1992 featuring four bedrooms and four baths, are custom renovations in both the master bath and kitchen areas that merit closer inspection. Performed by Todd Thomas Home Improvements, Inc., each of the rooms has been transformed through the use of neutral tones and natural elements, giving them a comfortable, welcoming feel. The end result is nothing short of fantastic.
Countertop: The rich countertop is a natural stone product from Brazil called “Black Titanium” featuring a stain-resistant leather finish and custom leather textured edges by Counterkraft of Merritt Island.
Cabinets: Pale wood cabinets from the JSI Cabinetry “Designer Series” using a Wheaton door with cream paint and a light brown glaze on maple give the room a warm, soft glow.
Range Hood: A stainless 30-inch 412 CFM convertible wall-mount range hood by Kitchen Bath Collections on Wayfair adds polish to the room.
Lighting: LED lighting from Flexfire LEDs are featured prominently throughout the kitchen.
Counter: Identical 22.5inch rectangular “Amber Sunset” glass vessel sinks with matching waterfall faucets sit atop a Cambria “Dovedale” quartz countertop.
Cabinets: Wood cabinets from Showplace Cabinetry featuring a Danbury door with a soft cream finish and a walnut glaze.
Tile: Venetian Travertine floor and wall tiles with white marble sills capping the knee walls, shower bench and niches.
Lighting: Minka Lavery “Belcaro Collection” wall sconces with an aged tortoise shell finish help tie the room together.
Todd Thomas Home Improvements, Inc. is a full-service construction company. Officially opened in 2005, the business works on residential and commercial buildings providing clients with everything from small-scale renovations to complete custom remodels.
Originally from Iowa, Todd has an extensive background in kitchens, having worked alongside CWW Kitchens—a well-known local business with more than 30 years of experience—for 11 years. In fact, he was so impressed with the quality of their work, he decided to purchase the company in April 2018.
“When I started the business, it was just me and my tools doing work for customers. I discovered that a strong work ethic of showing up on time, providing timely estimates, wearing a collared shirt, and doing what you say you’re going to do puts one head-and-shoulders above a lot of the competition,” he says.
“After carefully developing a solid reputation, eventually I became so busy I was constantly turning down work, and people were disappointed and unwilling to wait six months to a year to start their projects. This is how we became the company we are now, still reliant on making the customer the first priority and building off the foundation of keeping jobs clean, showing up on time, and providing 100 percent customer satisfaction. Our growth has been slow to keep the quality and the customer our first priorities.”
